It was a gorgeous day on the gold coast a simple 74 degrees and cooler in the morning when action got under way and it was a Bray day Jessie game captain of Klentner Ranch vs Pop Graham who is always going to try to win and the Twin Palms polo team and to add to this you also had Justin and Jake on the Klentner team which is about 120 years total at most might be even less . While Twin Palms packing a good 165 but in the end showed experience was the key. The young guns led the game until very end with 1.36 showing on the clock it seemed they would win just then Mr Maloney re-guided a wide penalty into the goal and Twin Palms took the lead and shortly after the game. Twin Palms goes to 2 and 0 and KR the opposite. Many thanks to Chris and Laura Maloney for a very good time at Graham Brays birthday dinner and Party . Game 2 also had plenty of action as Film Fiance and Lady Leigh took on Henry Walker and Farmers and Merchants a game with some family ties as well Dan Walker Henry’s older Brother plays for Film Fiance and Henry’s son Charlie was supposed to play with Dad on F&M but is sidelined by a broken wing so in steps another son Lucas Escobar son of Luis pro for F&M. They were no match for Mr Speed Fast=Etta as in Mariano Fassetta scoring in ever chukkar at big angles and flat out faster than the others. Lady leigh was a huge help with some big time rideoffs and a goal as well sealing the victory as both teams are now at 1 & 1 the other two teams Slovakia and Mokrow farms took the day off as it was to hot I guess @ 78 so will resume on Tues.
Back East it was Sons turn to beat as Young gun Santo Magrini with Whitebirch outshined Pop Matias in the big one at Greenwich . Aslo in action is a lot of play in NY @ Mashomic and the Hamptons The Gold Cup or British Open gets underway Tues. in the UK with 13 teams I think in the biggest one of them all right now 22 goals .
