The second leg of the Triple Crown in Argentina started today. LA DOLPHINA smoked the qualifiers Lobos and it was Chapa I getting past El Parasio. I have not heard much more than results but will pass it on soon as it becomes available. . These games were postponed from Friday due to weather and Sat. games are delayed until Monday due to elections in Argentina. It will be Fred Mannix taking the field with his Alegria team and he will, I guess, be only the second Canadian to play in the Open as one played for Arg. in 1901 I was told . Anyway they have their hands full as they face ELLESTINA and its 38 goal team. They’re spotting them 9 goals on paper but its open so it does not help and they will just have to beat them on the flat . Hit Ruki the ball and run after him – so simple .
Also we would like to thank the many people who helped the fire people in the California area. I was not there but the magic of doing the extra for someone was really something at SD Polo club as the whole crew pitched in and supported the effort from all accounts I have heard.
