Polo Club Opportunity In Norco, CA
I have been contacted by an individual who is a major horse show promoter in Southern California. He is purchasing 400 acres in Norco, California to develop an equestrian/soccer center. It will include a 300 room hotel, retail shopping center, 200 room hotel for visiting soccer teams and visiting equestrians, a soccer/equestrian stadium, and related buildings and services.
He wants to purchase an adjacent 90 acres where he plans to build 5 polo fields, stabling for 200 horses, an exercise track and related buildings and services. He will buy the land and construct all improvements. It is next to a major freeway that has access to both Los Angeles County and Orange County.
He is looking for an individual or group of individuals who will form a polo club and operate the polo club. When the polo club is not using the grass, it would be used for soccer. Although this individual will pay for all the improvements, the polo club group must have the capital to operate the club on a day to day basis. The first step would be the negotiation of a lease.
