It looked like polo balls everywhere as hail pelted and covered the fields today. Yes indeed, it hailed!
Along with rumbling thunder and gusts of cold wind, one inch balls of ice bounced off the barn roofs and blanketed the grass.
The mares tails clouds dotting the sky last evening were a true indicator of a change in the weather. As quick as it came, it blew over, and the fields were open for stick and ball in the afternoon.
