WCT Tournament Update
The WCT (Women’s Championship Tournament) is proud to announce the second International WCT Qualifier (the fourth qualifier in the 2008-2009 season).The WCT format was expanded in 2008 to include women’s tournaments worldwide that meet the criteria to become a qualifying tournament for the WCT Finals 2009. The first International WCT Qualifier was played in England in June at the Beaufort Polo Club with an impressive match up of an 8 Goal vs.9 Goal women’s team. According to tournament organizers and promoters in Argentina, the upcoming LPW (Ladies Polo World Championships)/International WCT Qualifier will be played November 3-7 at the Jockey Club and is the first women’s tournament in Argentina to have the full sanctioning and support of the AAP (Association Argentina de Polo).
