I can guarantee , I seen today 100 in NY, Chicago, St Louis, Milwaukee and well very hot in Fl. and Houston as well as Atlanta well here on the Gold Coast it was a smooth 70 degrees a little bit under normal which is about 74. The truth is was a bit cool and foggy this morning but sunny by noon and that was the first day since Summer started we did not have a full day of Sun. Not picking on anyone but I am sure it is raining in London and a 90 + in Soto Grande and and not as friendly in Deauvile this is exactly why Santa Barbara should be the Summer Polo capital of the World . Perfect Weather great location close to everything needed. Problem yes we need to prove to the World we can be different and not the way we are . JUST DO IT !
We now have a NEW GM Bobby Puetz who can change this and he will just let it happen. Santa Barbara has always been 3 fields really 2 short and good but that’s it not social not enough fun and well guess what it is only for fun they come here it is not like it is free. Well guess what SB has a whole bunch more to offer we just need to put it together there are in addition to the 3 fields at the club now 7 private fields and may soon be two more Andy Busch, Tom Barrick,Lyndon Lea,Pat Nesbitt, Mike Rothbard and Scott Wood and close to being SB Ranch put it on paper we could have 10 fields maybe 12 so 3 games a week 30 games 15 teams and not abuse anything this could be the Polo center the IPC of the Summer . WHY NOT? Well we need to agree to not disagree it is just politics and it is just STUPID we have everything and we just need common sense quit feuding and make it happen the Club can be the main show but they are just the name it is nothing else they must lead the parade or it will not happen and they will disappear as a polo center that is just the way it is. Bring it together NOW , lets make SB a destination not a visit. If the UK can have 16 to 20 teams playing annually with rain , sleet and sometimes Sun why do we have 4 and we have no rain some fog and a lot of Sun nearly everyday and a whole bunch of places to Play. Hollywood,LA, Mammoth, Pacific Ocean, Ojai or just anywhere you want to go from here to las Vegas in 45 minutes , San Fran 60 minutes . WE HAVE IT AND IT NEVER RAINS
