The scent of “Mimosa” fascinates Argentario
The International Polo Tournament Coppa italia F.I.S.E. 2012 organized in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports ended on Sunday 12th august
Eight teams have fighted for the trophy, one from Hungary and the others from Italy.
At the end of two weeks of hard fought matches ,the two Teams from Milan , La Mimosa Green Season and RCC Polo Team qualified for the final. These two historic rivals have not disappointed the expectations.
After three fractions of the match the result was balanced, when the player of the Mimosa Green Season, the Argentinian Juan Jose Storni, started to score goals repeatedly giving the victory to his team. Juan Jose Storni also won the Best Scorer of the tournament with 28 goals, followed by the young Matias Coria (23 goals)
At the Prize Giving the protagonists of the event were surrounded by the love of a big audience. Federico Forcelloni, Federal Councillor, and Alessandro Giachetti, Responsible of Polo department of Italian Federation for Equestrian Sports have delivered The Coppa Italia F.I.S.E. Challenge Trophy to the captain of the winning team.
Even this year, the summer Polo Season of Argentario Polo Club has had a big success.
