ITS TIME FOR A FAB FEB. It started today down South in Gatorland (Florida) as Kris Kampsen was the hero in one as he scored 9 for Privilige. They blew by Skeeterville. It was Laurence Wallace and Mike Azzaro Bending Bendabout around in OT. Jofie (Joseph Stuart) and the Janbalaya’s lost in OT in Gulfstream.
Here in the West it happens on Friday as the big boys are in town and ready to hit the green. its an early start as Silent Chris Maloney and his Tri Tech starts early in the 16-Goal as they take on Bones (Ron Bonaguidi) and his Hanalei Bay quartet. It should be fun. Also in the morning it is Bud the Bullet Dardi hitting the league scene as he leads McPolo/Maui vs. pretty Ms. Jenny Luttrell, who seems on paper to have a very strong team. A 2 PM it is the Walker Clan coming to town and they are armed and ready as they head to the turf vs. January’s champs of the 12-goal Palm Desert and Dandy Dan Horn. Palm Desert is undefeated in ’07 thus far. Dan Horn may feel like 007 soon if he doesn’t get slowed down.
We are still waiting on the big rain or just a rain as it has now been 8 months and 13 days since the last one . The cold seems to have moved on and its desert weather now. It seems normal and nice. If the grass will just start we might have a very good season yet.
Feb. is looking good for the 16-goal with its 5 teams.The 8-goal has 6 and as usual the league that will not go away has 14 teams taking up space (4-goal/4-chukker).
