Its down to the final 4 and its like this . . .
There are only 3 as the Hawaiians are blue and out. The Long Beach Walkers are a win away if Windsor/GF rolls over and falls to TriTech and its just the way it is.
The Standings
Windsor 2 & 0 + 3
Long Beach 1 & 1 – 1
Tritech 1 & 1 – 3
Hanalei Bay is out so the game today only counts if Long Beach (LB) loses then its just up to Tritech to win a loss and they are out anyway. With a LB loss or no,t so here they go at 2 pm in a Friday showdown in the rainy skies of Eldorado where a inch of rain will not hurt a thing.
Down south like in Florida its Triple Crown time on the West coast of FL. The Riceman (Shane Rice) is still in the running I think if they are playing a roundrobin tournament. If not he is out. I do not remember but he has had a brilliant winter at about 90 + % winning so we have made our mark from the West Coast over in Boca Raton, FL. At the 100,000.00 INT. Cup its out with the western flavor as Matt Gonzalez and Hector Galindo were both eliminated in WPB where everyone is yelling for Memos head. Its the Master Adolfo Cambiaso and the BVM’s after the Gold and the sensational Spainard David Sterling & Crab Orchard versus The Owls of Victor Vargas and the Lechuza Caracas combo of Blazing Blake and the Mighty Merlos’s. It should be a dandy. On the La Herradura scandal where there is talk of skinning someone which includes Western Superstar Frederick” Little Mac” Mannix, it maybe more Argy hype than anything else. That team minus Frederick did lose a game on purpose, but is it really a cheat? I do not really think so. It may be unfair to some others, but its life often in the final games of football, baseball and probably basketball and soccer. The best players take a break if they have an advantage and this could be the case if Memo Gracida was waiting to see if Bendabout beat Crab Orchard. Then he may have went for it and maybe not, but once he saw they were in the finals (Crab Orchard that is) he may have elected to give up for a better draw in the final. The biggest prize of them all is the U.S. Open. Its a little worse than hitting the ball over the sideline to run out the clock in the 6th chukker, but maybe not that much. It may have been unsportsman-like maybe, but cheating . . . no?
See you at the finals. There are a lot of them there just all somewhere different.
