The second semifinal of the 2008 Joe Barry Memorial Cup, featuring Pony Express and Isla Carroll, has been delayed due to heavy overnight rains and damp field conditions.
“There isn’t one dry field,” reported IPC polo director Jimmy Newman.
The game has been rescheduled for Friday, January 25 at 11AM, EST. Two additional 20-goal matches in the concolation round of the tournament have also been delayed by a day. At 1PM, Bud Light/ERG is slated to play San Saba, followed by a 3PM faceoff with Patagones going up against Mt. Brilliant.
The Joe Barry Memorial Cup finals will be played on Sunday at 3PM between Catamount and the winner of the Skeeterville-Isla Carroll contest.
