THE HAWKS FACED A HARSH BLIZZARD IN THE 4 GOAL (Heart Cup Final) – It wasn’t a hail storm that hit the Calgary Polo Club on Friday, July 14th it was a nasty Blizzard…The John Rooney, Donna Rooney, Anne Evamy and Gonzalo Deltour Blizzard! This storm of players hit the Hawks hard right from the start of the first chukker. Donna Rooney was on fire as she carried the ball like a pro, and there was no stopping the always tough Anne Evamy. The Hawks tried to make a comeback, but it was too little too late, the Blizzard was just too strong! The final score was 8-6 for Blizzard.
