Calgary, Alberta (July 25, 2007) – With an output of eight goals (4 fouls), Fred H. Mannix led Millarville to a 10 – 9 victory over Broward Yachts in the final of the Christopher Roenisch Memorial Tournament on Wednesday. In a game where both teams held leads, and none more than two goals, Mannix outscored Broward by two with three counters in the sixth after trailing by one going in. With his second Twelve Goal victory in as many starts, Mannix has indeed served notice that he not only wants to win everything this season, but that he is entirely capable of doing so. Julian Mannix had two  in the win,  including the first of the game in the first 23 seconds on an absolutley perfect feed from Daniel Roenisch out of the initial throw-in.

For Broward, Tommy Biddle with a huge effort had  seven goals (3 fouls). Helping Biddle on the board, Yvette Biddle had one as did Cali Garcia-Velez.

With the Roenisch completed, attention turns to the 16 – 20 goal North American Cup, with play starting Thursday evening.
