Wednesday Results

Cinque Terre prevailed over Heathcote Farm yesterday 10-8 in a closely fought match, which saw the lead switch a couple of times. Andres Wesiz had a brilliant performance with eight goals, six of which were from the field.


Tuesday Results

In a see saw match Endeavour topped Polo Do 13-12 this evening. After two chukkers Polo Do was ahead 6-5, with Guille Aguero, scoring a second chukker hat trick from the field. The momenteum changed in the third chukker as Endeavour came alive, with Pancho Bensadon getting three goals, two of which were from the field to put his team up 8-6 at the half. The first half was characterized by close play, the second half saw more open play. After four chukkers the score was 10-7 Endeavour due to field goals by Naco Taverna and Bensadon. Again the tide turned and Polo Do recorded three unanswered goals, two by Dorignac (the first a penalty 2 conversion, and then a beautiful shot by Aguero which traveled at least 120 yards through the air, tying the score at 10-10. A late penalty 2 conversion by Bensadon , put Endevaour back ahead 11-10. Aguero knotted the game at 11-11 with a field goal in the sixth chukker. This was soon followed by Endeavour gaining the advantage shortly thereafter, as Bensadon made good on a penalty 2 shot. Pablo Spinacci made what was to be the game winner with a field goal.

Bensadon was the day’s high scorer with 10 goals, six of them penalty conversions. Aguero led Polo Do with six, all field goals.
