Our sympathy goes to George Haas’ family. George passed on Monday, June 12.
George Haas was inducted into the Polo Hall of Fame in 2002. He participated and won many polo tournaments over the years. George won his first polo trophy at Yale in 1938. He won the East Coast Open three times, the Monty Waterbury three times and the Arena Sherman Memorial.
George was involved in the Federation of International Polo (FIP), Polo Training Foundation (PTF) and was also president of the Gulfsteam Polo Club.
All are welcome at his service which will be on June 20th ay 11AM at St. David”s in the Pines on Forest Hill Blvd in Wellington, FL.
All are also welcome at a reception following the service at the Polo Hall of Fame.
