DOS PERROS TAKE TALKING PHONE BOOK CUP
Dos Perros held on to a large early lead and withstood a late run from Tackeria to take The Talking Phone Book Cup at Saratoga Polo on Wednesday. The final score was 8-6.
With the exception of a single goal in the first chukker from Juve Baez, Tackeria was held scoreless in the first half as Rick Baum and Omar Sosa each had 3 scores to give Dos Perros a healthy 6-1 lead at halftime.
Tackeria came back in a big way, as Matt Coppola and Will Orthwein teamed with Baez to put Tackeria on a 5-0 run starting in the fourth and going into the fifth. Dos Perros came alive towards the end of the fifth into the sixth with a 3-0 run from Tab Orthwein and Sosa to put Dos Perros and back on top to claim The Talking Phone Book Cup.
