On Saturday, December 12th, 2015, La Dolfina def. Ellerstina 13-12 to win the 122nd Argentine Open and The Triple Crown.  This is the third consecutive year that La Dolfina has won the Triple Crown. This is the first time in the history that a team has won the Triple Crown three times in a row.

The Triple Crown is awarded to a polo team when it wins the title of  the Tortugas Open, Hurlingham Open and Argentine Open in one year.  One other team, Coronel Suárez, has one the Triple Crown of Polo four times, but not in consecutive order. They won the Triple Crown in 1972, ’74, ’75 and ’77.

The Gonzalo Heguy Award for the most valuable player of the finals was presented to  Adolfo Cambiaso (h) by Jesús Heguy.

Javier Novillo Astrada trophy was awarded to the the best scorer of the Argentine open 122 ° Hilario Ulloa, of Alegría Assist Card.  He scored 36 goals during the tournament.

Juan M. Nero received the la Copa Fomento Equino, an award presented to the best mounted player in the final.

Gonzalo Tanoira Award for the best mounted player of the tournament was awarded to Adolfo Cambiaso (h) (delivered to Mr. Javier Tanoira), while the Lady Susan Townley Cup for the Best Playing Pony of the final went to Falta Nut, played and owned by Juan M. Nero (Sergio Magrini breeding) and the Tito Lezcano Trophy was presented to the groom of the Best Playing Pony.

The Argentine Association of Polo Horse Breeders Award was presented to Oli Chicha, played and owned by Juan Nero.
