NEWS February 5, 2009
Due to Julio Arellano having been injured, the Crab Orchard polo team has elected to withdraw from the February 14-goal League. The Outback Polo League Tournament Committee has determined that Bracket III will still play within its own Bracket and play all remaining games scheduled in its Bracket. Only one team will now emerge from Bracket III to qualify for the semifinal.
The new tournament conditions are:
Bracket I plays all teams in Bracket II.
Bracket II plays all teams in Bracket I.
Bracket III plays all teams within Bracket III
The top two teams in Bracket I & Bracket II go to the Semifinals
The top team in Bracket III goes to the Semifinals
The team with the fourth best record will qualify as a Wildcard entry and go to the Semifinals
Semifinal Play – #1 plays #4; and #2 plays #3
