Due to the three-way tie in League Two, Les Lions (1-2), Twelve Oaks (1-2), and EFG Bank Aravali (1-2) took part in a penalty shootout at the Guards Polo Club for the final quarterfinal spot in the 2013 Cartier Queens Cup. Played under HPA rules, all four members of each team will take two penalty shots each: four shots from 40-yards and four shots from 60-yards.
Les Lions won the shootout, 7-5-5, and takes the final place in the quarter-finals, playing Zacara on Sunday at 3pm. This is the first time that a penalty shootout has occurred in the Cartier Queen’s Cup.
