INDIO, CA (March 14, 2007) – At Eldorado, March means the Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Tournament and it’s about money – $20,000 in 2007. With the Prelude in the books, it starts over on Friday (March 16) with two games in a format where everyone will play everyone else and the top two playing the final.
Game one will see Prelude champions and heavily favored Grant’s Farm Manor/Windsor Capital face the “new” Long Beach. For Andy Busch and crew a chance to continue what has become a very good season and of course Matt Walker and Henry Randazzo have an opportunity to be David and take down a giant. It is commonly felt however that something more than a slingshot will be neccessary.
The second game has Hanalei Bay taking on Tri Tech. Ron Bonaguidi has been second twice this season and would love to be the king in this one. Chris Maloney has different ideas and an upset would be priority – hopefully delivered at noon.
The Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game itself goes on Sunday, March 25, 2007.
