INDIO, CA (March 23,2007) – Before polo on Friday, the only thing that was known was that Grant’s Farm Manor/Windsor Capital would, in all likelyhood, be in the Barbara Sinatra Skins Polo Game on Sunday. Who they would play was most certaimly not at all clear. Things cleared up rather quickly and easily.
As Tri tech was winning over the Andy Busch/Pat Nesbitt team on Eldorado’s International Field , by a score of 9 – 6, Long Beach, totally unexpectedly, came out flat against Hanalei Bay on field one. With a 10 – 7 victory over Matthew Walker and Henry Randazzo, Ron Bonaguidi and his Islanders became THE spoilers and sent the Beach Boys home.
The end result was therefore simple to figure. Grant’s Farm/Windsor at 2 – 1 would play Chris Maloney and Co. also at 2 – 1. No net goals or who beat who to figure out the Skins finalists.
As expected Grant’s Farm Manor/Windsor Capital will play on Sunday. What was not expected was their opponent being Tri Tech. In a skins format it’s one chukkar at a time and start over – and as has been shown in the past, anything can happen.
