Friday May 6 th was a big day West of the Mississippi as Houston had Polo after a month delay and Santa Barbara got under way . Houston should just rent California for the Spring we cannot get rain they get a WAY to much as bad as it sounds a couple of weeks ago they got 20 inches overnite we have had 20 inches in almost 4 years . They have a lot of teams in Texas as I think about 8 in the 8 goal and 8 in the 12 so they continue to be the leader in getting it done despite the oil business . Santa Barbara is moving forward as Malanya is attracting new players to the area and maybe some will move up right now we have 5 in the 12 goal with one more due to be here in June. Some of SB patrons are over in the UK for the first big one the Queens cup  Ben Solemoni and I think John Muse maybe there as well not sure on that . . The Queens Cup starts next week and has 12 teams and they do not have perfect Weather but they do seem to have the savvy to get lots of teams .    We still have a couple of Polo Properties for sale if anyone wants a perfect place to play Polo give us a call . There are two games today in 12 goal at SB 1 and 3 pm Farmers and Merchants takes on Antelope and Klentner Ranch with 1 loss takes on Twin Palms so should be a fun day maybe a little Gray but I am sure no RAIN. Some bad news out of the Sunshine State Stevie Orthwein sr was injured last week we hope for a speedy recovery for him.
