On sunday night I wrote we have the final 4 teams established for the Pacific Coast Open Semi Finals. Well maybe. It happenend today and we have a situation delivered by a rash decision, by a tournament committee who were in a hurry! Everything depends on the ruling. Someone is going to be unhappy and thats not good.

Here is the way it is or was as of Sunday.

Two teams of seven are out of the tournament and will not go to the semi finals.

Jimmy Choo 5 and 1 winner of a roundrobin

Antelope out! 0 and 5

The next 5 teams tied at 3 and 3. This is a first ever in the history of the Pacific Coast Open.

won loss between tied teams 4 games

Grants Farm 3 and 1 there 2nd

Audi            3 and 1

Duende       2 and 2

Windsor      2 and 2

Mansour      1 and 3   there out of tournament

3 yeams tied 1 and 1 aganist each other tie breaker net goals

Windsor lost to Audi by 1 beat Duende by 2 net goals 1

Duende beat Audi by 4 lost to WC by 2       net goals  2

Audi   beat WC by 1 lost to Duende by 4    net goals – 3

This is problem a area. The Blue Book says tied teams won loss net goals, so if I read it right  its Duende 1st, Windsor 2nd, Audi 3rd and out. They read it Duende in then go back to start and win loss between 2 teams WC and Audi. So Audi goes. So who knows? We will soon I hope as its semis time. Thursday is 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 but we do know Jimmy Choo plays 4th place at 1 or 2 pm and Duende plays Grant’s/Klentner at 3 or 4 pm. So take your place and vote. Its going to be exciting either way. See ya.
