Nacho arrives in the desert to promote polo and
the upcoming Polo d’Elegance Charity Match at Empire Polo Club on March 23rd

The Polo d’Elegance Charity Match is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd at Empire Polo Club. Nacho Figueras will be captain of the Beverly Hills Polo Team (Bash Kazi, Kris Kampsen, Nacho Figueras and Mariano Fassetta). They will play against Trinity Polo Team (Rick Paicius, Jose Donoso, Juan Jamarillo and Marcelo Abbiati). The teams are both handicapped at 18-Goals. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley. The gates open at 3 PM and the game will start at 4 PM.
Nacho arrived in the desert early Wednesday morning to promote the upcoming charity match that he is co-hosting with Empire Polo Club. As one of the sports greatest promoters, Nacho spent the day talking about the sport of polo with the media and a group of kids from the Boys & Girls Club of La Quinta. The kids were excited to meet Nacho and to learn more about polo. After a question and answer session, Nacho taught the kids how to hold a polo mallet and to hit the ball. The kids were all smiles and excited to learn about a sport that they had not seen or played before. Nacho invited all of the kids to come out to Empire Polo Club on Saturday to watch their first polo match.
