Wright Group U.S.P.A. World Snow Polo Championship 2006
The Roaring Fork Polo Club would like to invite the public to join us field side for the 7th Annual Wright Group U.S.P.A. World Snow Polo Championship 2006 (12-16 goal). This one of a kind event takes place at Rio Grande Park in Aspen on December 16th and 17th 2006. Game times are 12:00 and 2:00 each day. World Snow Polo is the only snow polo event sanctioned by the United States Polo Association in the world. Also, of great interest is that the World Polo Tour (WPT) has recognized the event. The World Polo Tour is a selection of elite tournaments throughout the world such as; the Argentine Open, the US Open, and the British Open, where participants receive points towards an international ranking system with others. Snow Polo is colorful, fast, and exciting and will be the highest rated tournament in the Rocky Mountain Circuit. International professionals and patrons will be gathering in Aspen to demonstrate their equestrian talents on Colorado polo ponies furnished by the Roaring Fork Polo Club. Polo, skiing, and social events will highlight the weekend in Aspen. The event is free to the public, but VIP tickets are available for purchase, all proceeds go to Aspen Sister Cities.
