enthusiasts,

Piaget was proud to partner with polo superstar Nacho Figueras and polo Joe and Diana DiMenna, to host the first annual Piaget Hamptons Cup, an exhibition match benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation, one of New York City’s most respected charitable organizations. The event signaled a return to the glory days of polo in the Hamptons with fans and friends coming together to enjoy the sport of kings at one of South Fork’s most beautiful settings. Held at Equuleus Polo Club, a pristine private polo compound in Watermill, New York, the match featured three teams—Credit Suisse, Equuleus and Beverly Hills Beauty—each boasting some of the world’s top players and rising stars such as Kris Kampsen, Nic Roldan, Magoo Laprida, Matias Magrini and Pelon Escapite.

The 9-chukker round robin kept fans on the edge of their seats, and to the delight of everyone ended in a three-way tie. President of Piaget North America, Larry Boland, congratulated all three teams and presented the Piaget Hamptons Cup trophies. Nacho Figueras was recognized as the Most Valuable Player and Best Playing Pony went toBash Kazi’s Buck.

Following the match, guests gathered under a sprawling white tent to enjoy a traditional Argentine asado. A touch of color was added to the setting by lush bouquets of flowers, accented with Yves Piaget Roses. The latest Piaget Polo FortyFive timepieces and the new Piaget Altiplano 43mm were also on display.

Piaget is currently the Official Timekeeper of Bridgehampton Polo and most recently hosted the USPA Piaget Silver Cup tournament at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.
