The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

A California Doctor from Los Angeles with a passion for Polo, Steven Sadler, was declared brain dead on Saturday after he fell from his horse at SBPC . It was a very sad day as many waited for results. Steven was on life support but he passed away early Thursday morning.
Steven was a Doctor who specialized in Anesthesiology and Pain management in Beverly Hills. His Mother is well known for starting the Persian American Cancer Institute.
Steven definitely had a passion for Polo as just less than two years ago he suffered a fractured neck here in Santa Barbara, but was back in the saddle in the Desert this past Winter before returning to Santa Barbara Polo Club for the Summer season. I also heard he has played at Will Rogers Polo Club as well. I did not know the Steven personally, but I am just as saddened that this has happened to him. Our thoughts are with his Family and friends in this very sad moment.
See ya.
So sad for this family, wishing them patience through these sad times.
R.I.P :((
Dear Mrs. & Dr. Sadler, with heavy heart, I hope the lord gives you strength to tolerate this grave loss. May he RIP. Condolences to all who knew and loved him.
Love
Mehdi
Very sad. Words can’t describe how one feels when hearing about sudden losses like this. More sad knowing that his parents have helped so many lives thru paci. How brave to return to the sport after his first accident. Passion really is a drive. I wish his family peace & patience through these difficult times.
