WCT Tournament Update
Congratulations to Brigadoon / Goose Creek; Maureen Brennan, Sherri-Lyn Hensman, Sunny Hale and Christine Cato on winning the Aiken Ladies Invitational 3-5gl flight. MVP was Sherri-Lyn Hensman and Best Playing Pony went to ‘One Hot Tamale” owned and played by Kristy Outhier.
Congratulations to C Spear; Maggie Boyle, Jolie Liston, Julie Boyle and Gillian Johnston winners of the Aiken Ladies Invitational Campbell Cup 0-2gl. MVP was Jolie Liston and the Best Playing Pony went to ‘Priscilla’ owned and played by Karen Reese.
Both flights were WCT Qualifiers, all players in both flights are now qualified for the 2009-2010 WCT Finals and Entry Level Tournament in FL, April 2010. See Player Eligibility page.

WCT FINALS 2010
After many requests from players around the country the WCT Format has been expanded to include an Entry Level Tournament at the Finals. The new Entry Level Tournament will have a 0-2 Goal handicap limit.
The 2010 WCT Finals will remain a 3-6 goal handicap. The WCT Finals and Entry Level Tournament will run together in April, 2010 at International Polo Club in Wellington, Florida.
Requirements to enter for both levels are that each player has a current USPA handicap and has played in a WCT Qualifier.

I said well over a year ago that Womens Polo was set to take off, not just in this country but around the world…
As far as I’m concerned it is(was) an untapped source for future growth of membership and its potential is unequalled by anything going on in “mens” polo today.
There isn’t anything going on, really going on to promote polo in general in this country, but make no mistake Womens Polo Rocks and will continue to do so.
Great job ladies! Can’t wait for the World Cup!
Congrats to Sunny Hale and her WCT. Lots of great women playing now, and as an old timer, it makes me very proud to see the women playing such good levels of polo.
