The final two weeks of 20011 Fall season were full and fabulous! Prestonwood polo club hosted SMU Equestrian Teams  4th annual fundraiser dinner in the grand pavilion on Nov. 6th. Ladies Polo Auxiliary decorated  in a Denim and Diamonds theme, for the sit down dinner. Coach Holly Schoolfield thanked the generous sponsors and the USPA Hall of Fame polo tournament began it’s first two games for the guests entertainment. Barefoot Champagne  was enjoyed during the divot stomp.

The following day, Sunday Nov. 7 had the LPA transforming the venue for a French Day of Polo and Petanque ! French vendors, décor and food filled the pavilion while the fun French sport of Petanque was played on the west side before and after the polo matches on the east side. LPA members Dena Miller and Victoria Curtin enjoyed learning to play Petanque before the polo match while Vaughn miller got in the game after his polo match.

Season Finale  on Nov. 13 with the Hall of Fame Cup finals . Players and fans enjoyed a catered dinner in the pavilion while 14 fun awards were given  at the end of season Awards party.

Most Outstanding lady-Wendy Devineni went home with the silver musical jewelry box this year, well deserved for her hard work and success with the 6th annual polo on the Midway event.

Finale?! Says who! Polo never ends at Prestonwood! Winter Arena Polo began Dec. 4 with 2 Texas A & M men’s players  joining young Vaughn Sebastian against his Dad/coach Vaughn miller and Prestonwood student players. Sebastian scored the first goal of the game and his A & M team won on Saturday but Coach millers team came back to win on Sunday, though Sebastian scored 2 goals for his team that day.
And they’re  still playing….
