PRESTONWOOD POLO CLUB FALL SEASON PRESS RELEASE
Prestonwood’s second Fall season begins with its one year anniversary on September 5th with a reception by the Ladies Polo Auxiliary of Texas in the pavilion. The first tournament of the season is the LPA tournament and begins at the opener but takes a break on Sept. 12 when the match moves to Santa Anita Polo Club in Aubrey for the first annual “Latin America vs. USA at Polo at the Alamo” benefiting the WWW Heart Foundation for Children’s Medical Center.
Ladies Polo Auxiliary Cup resumes at Prestonwood on September 19 with the final being Sept. 26.Join us October 1st at Prestonwood country club in Dallas as we kick of the Women’s Championship tournament with a Red Carpet Gala with fashion show, live art performance, silent auction and Calcutta! Founded by sunny Hale, the world’s highest rated female polo player, the WCT brings women to the forefront of this glorious sport. Come and celebrate the ladies of the WCT in the VIP pavilion on oct. 3rd for the finals, $50 includes food, libations and entertainment with exclusive seating.
Oct. 10 kicks off the 2nd annual 380 Guide Community Cup Challenge with a party in the VIP pavilion featuring 380 Guide/News clients showcasing their goods and services. The tournament continues with the Red River Shootout, Polo Style on October 17, are your orange or red? Show your colors!
Oct. 24 380 challenge continues and wraps up with the final on oct. 31 at Polo on the Midway benefiting Bryan’s house with “Trunk or Treat” and costume contest for kids! All tailgaters will be required to participate by bringing goodies for the trunk or treaters, or you’re sitting in the grandstands!
November 6 and 14-the USPA Presidents cup 8 goal with the winner playing at the International polo club in Palm Beach, Florida.
It’s an exciting Fall season with great matches, parties and improvements to unveil! Join us for the fun, bring the kids,leashed dogs, BYOB/Picnic and enjoy a traditional champagne divot stomp every game, POLO ROCKS!
