RED IS THE COLOR OF THE DAY, CARDINALS ARE THE WORLD CHAMPS AND FIRES RAGE IN CALIFORNIA.
The St. Louis Cardinals are the World Series Champs and red raging fires are blacking the California desert. It was a great day in St. Louis and a bad day for Detroit, a city with little to cheer. Mother Nature is running polo with her rain most places as Argentina, Houston and Aiken are waiting on her to agree on polo dates and it did not look too warm in St. Louis. Polo is just getting rolling in many places. The Double J’s (Jason Crowder and Joseph Stuart) are in Australia and its rocking there. Polo is starting in India, Pakistan and Mexico City started last weekend, so polo is happening all over the World.
In California very little polo and lots of fires. Polo people would like to say prayers for the firefighters here where four were killed and the fifth fire fighter is in a very bad way. Just 3 years ago some of these men helped save a lot of polo horses during the Julian fires. It’s a very sad time for them and their families. Its said it was deliberately set. They need to find that person and tie him to a tree in the path and let him roast. That would be justice! Oh yes, we have elections coming up soon so be ready to run to the polls. I love it when you read all the mud about each politician. They just found out a very good handful of mud to sling, which is not a surprise. It seems Halliburton has spent a great deal of the 18 billion in Iraq on security. Now that really surprises me. They are definitely the thieves of the decade. It’s amazing to me how they have some parts going bankrupt and others robbing everyone. They probably own the foreign car companies in some other subsidiary as we know it. They do not own American dealers. Did you ever think back in the 70’s it was a gas shortage that first raised the price from a quarter to a buck and Mazda and Toyota became household words. We lost a couple U.S. carmakers. Then the demos and unions got in control and here comes a lot of cars, welfare and stock markets for a decade or so. Then big oil gets back in and markets go down, gas goes sky high and more trouble for the carmakers who are all building urban 18 wheelers for every Mom and Pop on the block. Then all of the sudden oil goes boom and we have no more. All the foreign cars are smaller, more efficient and on the lots. Katrina gets the blame, at least they say, it was her but it was already up to $2.75 before that. We cannot fix the refineries yet and I wonder why? I am sure we hired Halliburton to fix them. Now suddenly gas prices are falling. The big 3 are all in trouble and the gas prices will never go back to where they were 2 years ago anyway. We will have a real estate crash and the unions and stock market will get rolling for a while now. All in all the World will go on and we will survive except we will soon see no cars made in America and very few Polo Players made in America, because that is the American way. Its like if you can afford it what do you drive a Ford, Chevy or a Dodge? Probably not. So why buy an American Polo player? Lets here your reasons?
