It was a day of big surprises as Dudley’s Casa Blanca was the underdog with a huge bite. In came in a famous name remember Mr. Oct? His name was Rege as well it was one Rege White making the difference of what I saw today. The Wolf Man (Ashton Wolf) was like an animal. That is a Wolf Man. He was on fire and Carlos Galindo was strong, but it was REGE White stopping the clock as Casa Blanca ended any chance of a repeat finalist from Marcus + Milichap. Billy Boy Hoyman and the M&M’s were just behind the 8 ball all day. I am sure their game plan never focused on how strong Rege was gonna be. Casa Blanca heads to the finals where they will meet OC Polo and Rick “Latin Lover” Paicius who found his viagra in polo. He is like so ready to rock and roll. It is so cool to see a brand new Patron with a clean hard drive to be very good ASAP.
They had a very hard day as Monte Verde minus Mrs. Ellie (Ellen Greenhill) were a very hard opponet and in the lead for 3 chukkers. In the end it was the Surfer (Diego Cossio) and Nick the Stick 2 (Nicolai Galindo) fighting for their life. Theo Wakefield and Rick Paicius were right there as they had a support crew, but it was a war. Bryon Ward and Monte Verde never did say I give and Bryon played a very good game as well as Dandy Andy and Obregon. They had ’em but could not hold ’em. All this is for a big day on Sunday at 1.30 p.m. Its OC POLO vs. Casa Blanca it could be the Civil War.
It will be son (Nicolai Galindo of OC Polo) against Father (Carlos Galindo of Casa Blanca) and Mother (Ronai White of Casa Blanca) & Son (Rege White) and Stepchild (Ashton Wolf) who will take on 3 gringos and the Surfer (Diego Cossio – OC Polo) to see where they go. It will be a W A R and thats just for appetizers. Then its the 14-goal Finals as MR. Spreckels would be proud as two very tough San Diego buisnessman captain these Teams including Tri Tech and Honey Bay actually Hanalei Bay. Its show time and there will be Airplanes, Buses and Limos. It will be Party Time after, before and during the game.
Next year the Spreckels will very likley be live on ESPN as Triple Crown and Master David are coming to town. In 11 months and 3 days this place will be so BIG, no more cable. We are going LIVE and Wild Lexus – ESPN – TRIPLE CROWN. And maybe the Airforce.
Back East it was Goose Creek taking a big one over Bendabout and Winfield surprising Skeeterville in OT in the Silver Cup being played in Aiken, South Carolina.
Alegria had no easy way out as Santa Maria deLobos defeated Miramar 12-11 in the Argentine Qualifying Matches. Now Little Mac (Frederick Mannix, Jr. of Alegria) has to fire up the troops to make the big ones coming up. All this takes place on Tuesday.
