It was an old West Coast visitor, Mariano Gonzalez, who came to the rescue. Mariano was just who they needed as Chap needed a sub for injured Lucas Criado early in the game. So Chap had Mariano Gonzalez on the line in the Arg. Open. In the Argentine Open the first few games are very important. If you lose one you go to game 2 with a minus and it doubles the pressure. It was a very big game for Chapa to win. In the other game it was Ellerstina blowing out the qualifiers Santa Maria. Heading into week 2 it is La Dolfina and Chapa 2 with wins. Chapa 1 and Ellerstina head with into the week with wins. El ParaĆso and La Aguada have the pressure load on them now with a pair of losses. Maybe Mother Nature has decided to let things be normal for a while down South in Argentina. Another Desert visitor made it to the finals of the Gold Cup, young Juan “Gris” (negro) Zavaleta, played for Los Mojitas. So there is touch of the desert down South. Winter Polo is coming and we have some very good pros ready to roll. Call me if you need help putting together a team or to lease or buy horses. 805-896-4406. See ya.
