You can watch them both as The British Open starts at 7 am Ca. time on pololinetv.com and enjoy your breakfast as you see it and then have a late brunch or Lunch at SB Polo Club and watch the finals of the Skene Cup and I am sure weather will be great here in SB and maybe across the Pond as well but it will be a lot better bet here on the Gold Coast for sure. Over in the Uk it was decided Wed. as Alex Webb wrote and a bit of a surprise who was in the semis but not who won as Sommelier was a definite shock to get to Semis as well as Habtoor and they did not fare well in either case as the Brit Powered El Remanso continues to be a top notch team and King Power with a Pieres driven 4 some and defending Champs look to get there again but they do have very tough bunch of local Lads to deal with so I think it maybe a surprise and I hope it is. It is always a bit of fun to see 4 friends from another place get it done , with today’s big pockets usually holding all the cards.
Over here it is Klentner Ranch almost a home team as most of these guys on the team were in pee wee Polo in the early part of the century in Indio and so far this season I think are undefeated and going for second title and a huge part of there success is all local with All Day Jessie Bray making it happen. KR got a real game today as Jeff Hall came to the table and gave them all they could take as Lucchese was right there until the final bell and outstanding performance today as well from Jared Zenni a US youngster from Chicago area . The middle game seen Dan Walkers F and M take down Sol De Agosta which have rebuilt there line up adding Jimmy Wright a very bright young gun. In Game 1 today it was RH with first game for Ben Solemani and his very successful UK trip winning Queens Cup and losing Quarters of the Gold with a big problem an injured AC so he got in a few days early they defeated finalist Santa Clara but lost out in a 3 way shootout and Santa Clara meets Klentner Ranch on Sunday.
