Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is pleased to announce the tournament schedule for the upcoming 2009 season.
Polo kicks off at the beginning of May with the 12-goal season! This season features four two-week tournaments of competitive polo culminating with the USPA Intra-Circuit Challenge.
May 8- May 21 Lisle Nixon Memorial
May 20- May 31 Pope Challenge
June 3- June 14 Vic Graber Cup
June 17- June 28 USPA Intra-Circuit Cup
The highlight of the summer is the exciting 20-goal season! Three two-week tournaments lead up to the prestigious three week long Bombardier Pacific Coast Open, one of the most coveted trophies in polo.
July 9- July 19 Mayors Trophy
July 22- August 2 Robert Skene Trophy
August 5- August 16 USPA America Cup
August 19- Sept 6 Bombardier Pacific Coast Open
The season finishes off with the fun and friendly 8-goal season! The final tournament of the season is the Wickenden Cup, which was first played in 1903.

For the 2009 season only, we are offering a special package for playing in two or more seasons. Call for more details.
For the 2009 season we are also offering Interclub League and Invitational Tournaments with trophies and prizes that will impress your friends and family. This is a friendly but competitive series of two-week tournaments throughout the season for polo enthusiasts. After the spirited game, join your team, friends and family on the lawn for picnics, barn parties and mouth-watering barbeques!
