Saratoga Springs, NY – For a week, five of the best teams to play in Saratoga Polo’s world class season battled for the storied Whitney Cup. After six titanic chukkers of polo Sunday night, Agua Enerviva emerged victorious over Hawk Hill by a score of 11-9.
Leading the scoring for Agua Enerviva was Martin Tanreghi with six goals, followed by Pedro Fallabella and Hugh Dollard with two goals each and Wes Finlayson with one. For Hawk Hill, it was Henry Zavoleta with five goals and Marcos Bignoli with four.
In the consolation round, it was Brookland emerging victorious with 11 goals followed by Banbury Cross with eight goals and Bloomfield with seven.
