Banbury Cross Captures Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge Polo Finals

Women polo players from throughout the world took Saratoga by storm this week as the finals of the Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge took place on Sunday at Saratoga Polo.
The afternoon began at 5pm with a six chukker round robin tournament featuring Bloomfield, Saratoga Saddlery, and Southland Business Group. In the end, it was Bloomfield emerging victorious over Southland Business Group and Saratoga Saddlery.
In a four chukker final, Banbury Cross faced off against Buckleigh Farms. Despite spirited pressure by Buckleigh, Banbury Cross sustained the dominance that they had exhibited throughout the tournament. The final score was Banbury Cross 6, Buckleigh Farms 4.
