The first round of the Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge will now take place on Saturday, August 1 at 5:30 p.m.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – Due to inclement weather, the first round of the Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge has been cancelled for this evening. The double-header matches have been rescheduled for this Saturday, August 1, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saratoga Polo is also offering special admission pricing for this Saturday’s match only, at $20 per carload.

The tournament final of the Veuve Clicquot Women’s Challenge will be held Sunday, August 2 and features double-header matches with the first beginning at a special time of 4:30 p.m. Between matches, ladies will be treated to a Fashion Show featuring outfits from local boutiques including Violet’s of Saratoga, Hunt Ltd, Pink Paddock Boutique and Lilly Pulitzer. Women attending at the Clubhouse will also receive a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot to enjoy while browsing through a special preview of the Italian jewelry brand, Rebecca, hosted by Frank Adams Jewelers. Admission on Sunday is $25 per person into the Clubhouse, or $25 per carload on the general admission lawn.

Saratoga Polo matches are played every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; gates open at 4 p.m. and matches start at 5:30 p.m. at the polo grounds at Bloomfield and Denton Roads (weather and field conditions permitting). Admission is $25 per person for entry into the Clubhouse – offering box seats, air-conditioning and a full cash bar – or $25 per carload on the general admission lawn.
