West Linn, OR (Sept. 1, 2008) – The developement of Sean and Gretchen Keys’ Hidden Creek Polo Club, just minutes south of Portland, has most certainly afforded the opportunity to introduce polo to many people in the area. With two very successful fundraisers completed this summer, Keys was more than interested when PricewaterhouseCoopers inquired about the possibility of having their annual alumni event at Hidden Creek.
As a result, on Thursday evening August 28, several hundred enthusiastic former and present PwC executives arrived at the new facility to watch an exhibition match and wrap up a very successful season.
The game featured PricewaterhouseCoopers versus Hidden Creek in a stadium format of three on three. With Keys scoring four times and Graham Bray notching three, PwC easily defeated Hidden Creek by a count of 7- 3. For Hidden Creek, Jesse Bray had a pair while Dan Harrison scored once. Harrison’s horse Jacob was selected as the best playing pony.
With the 2008 Hidden Creek season completed, attention now turns to the desert of Southern California and the La Quinta Polo Club. The season is expected to start in mid December and continue through early April.
