The ladies were blazing today and it was quite a sight on a perfect Fall day for polo. It was a round robin with three teams in the (B) flight. Norma Owen and Owen Polo stopped Monteverde the first 2 chukkers of the round robin. Then Monteverde stepped on Polo Connection in their first 2 chukkers by 2. Then Polo Connection just slaughtered Owen Polo, so it all resumes tommorow as the games are continued. There will be a showdown at 11 a.m. Sunday.
On Sunday it starts with the Polo Connection and the flying nun Mrs. Bancroft and Heather Fogarty, who came to work for their big stick Abby Riggs. They still have to deal with Norma and her pro Mrs. Jessica Bailey-Mano and the hard-running Stefani Serrano, who is in her virgin run at polo. They have to take on Monteverde first. So it should be exciting.
Then at 3 its the Chicks with the Big Sticks coming at you as Kelly’s Pink Panthers try to continue their run and their dominance on game 2. The dangerous Pink Panthers will open the high-goal as they take on OC Polo and then they face the Gladiators. At about 3:30 we will know who the champs of the day were, so it may come down to who is there at the final bell.
