The Polo Report

It was a perfect day from the media at just after 6 am PST it was possible to view the British Open Golf finals on the television and at the same time via Polo Line TV watch the British Open Polo finals with The Voice of England Sir Terry Hanlon, who is afraid to fly. With perfectly different games, in totally different weather and both venues probably less than 150 miles apart. St. Andrews Golf course had 35 mile-an hour winds with an unknown South African named Louis Oosthuizen, rolling over all the big names like Woods, Michelson and Sergio. Over at at Cowdray Park in Midhurst with sunny skies and nice looking weather under the Castle it was Adolfo Cambiaso doing what he does …. WINNING another Major Championship.  This was his 7th British Open, also known as the Gold Cup. Cambiaso and his Dubai teammates seldom seemed pressured by Lechuza as some times they would close the gap just to see Dubai open another 2 goal lead.  It was like 1-2-3 throw in, run & goal. As of 9am PST, thanks to Polo Line,  it was great to watch.  Now it is time to go watch Polo at Santa Barbara and tape the rest of the Golf.

I guess everyone in California knows Cambiaso is headed this way … like tomorrow maybe. He will return to a state where his American career started with the late Dan Reeves in Santa Rosa Polo Club. As of today, Cambiaso has won the last 6 major championships around the planet. So come on out to the Gold Coast and see this superstar play.

See ya @ polo.
