Tacoma Polo Club held their final Tournament of the season August 6th and 7th, complete with a sumptuous Saturday night dinner and a Pinata loaded with goodies for kids and adults alike. Trophies for the Leo Birthday Bash were beautiful hand blown horse themed goblets on long stems, donated by Shane Flock, glass blower extraordinaire and Tacoma Polo Club member. The red balls that comprise the stem indicate the player position, i.e., 4 red balls played #4. The final game of the final tournament was a fitting tribute to the wonderful players and their magnificent horses. The thrilling nailbiter ended with Promised Land over Kelly Creek by 1 with a long, beautiful horse race down the field towards goal.
