The 2010 Pacific Coast Open started today Aug. 15 at 10 @ 10 am and it got down right exciting quick as ERG and Scott Woods taking on Piocho Ranch without a Barrack might be a mistake as ERG jumped all over them and lead 7 to 1 and 10 to 3 during the game and Piocho came back to finish down by 1 or 2 but a definite upset as PR was a crowd favorite to make it all the way to the finals . On field #1 it was Zacara taking on a very strong Valiente with two very good and contributing Patrons Lyndon Lea of Zacr and Bob Jovanez of Valiente and it was Z up early in the 1’st but Valiente roared back and went up in the 2nd and led by 1 and then the third more of the same as Valiente added 1 and led at 1/2 time by 2 . A break was what was needed for Z as they woke up and had a fabulous 4 th chukkar winning 4 to 0 and taking a 2 goal lead and Valiente answered back in the 5th and won the chukkar but never equaled the score and Z was able to get out in the 6th in a big # 4 by Jeff hall to win by 2 so they have a date this Thursday with MR. Woods and Paco and it should be fun as these two teams are heavy in the middle and looking for miracles from the ends . The 1 o’clock was well Lucchese versus Grants farm and GF is not a sleep at the wheel but Luc has the ace and even though he had a so so day he has the Palomno , Andres and Mr Muse well going places and doing things they have never done and well they WON and Jeff Blake and Sugar played lights out but there are somethings you can not stop usually by Mother nature Floods, Tornadoes and Hurricanes and just maybe Cambiaso there are good and then there is Fedder, Tiger,Jordan and AC it is not the same no matter what you say . Do not think the public does not know he is here I set on East side of stands at 1 pm its full at, 3 the feature it is 30 % less and the sun is shining so that is the way it is .
The feature game was Mansour and Big Ben vs Mark Ganzi and Audi and it was not the best game of the day as both Patrons were unseated Mark early doing a Roy Rodgers in the throw inn and later Ben S doing a neck shot which ended up between the legs and made running impossible and now Bens has a very sore neck to deal with but Audi who led early endended up in trouble as Mansour with Young Tony Uretz came flying back and set the table to win by 3 or so and it is Mansour upsetting Audi and heading for a showdown with wel Lucchese thursday but hey it is just another game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All in all it was a nice day the Sun shined most of the last two games it was cool but not cold their were twice as many people here and we know why they had fun the REAL FACT is POLO is a LOT OF FUN.
