We do know 3 teams set for the semis. We know it is nasty at El Dorado Polo this we do know. There is some rule interpretation about who has the 4th spot is it Valiente? This is what I thought was decided, but in speaking with Bob Gray last night he said “NO” its wrong so we shall see. They probably could not read it because it is so dusty and brown. Its hard to understand why the Desert from Banning to Palm Springs is greener than El Dorado Polo Club? They can complain all they want about my criticism but there is no reason why water trucks cannot run because they do next door. The Club should get fined for being a hazard. The dust is bad for horses and for people to eat dirt 24/7. The situation will probably be the same Sunday and they will have no problem hiding the Easter eggs on the fields with lots of holes and dust to hide in besides the long grass on the boards.

There will, however, be some good games. It will be Windsor Capital and the Gunners taking on Bullet Bob and Valiente in the first semis, which is a repeat of yesterday. The other semi puts the Hawks and Father Joe Henderson and the Mini Mac (Julian Mannix) against double D’s of Palm Desert with Dan Horn and Dan Walker. It will be a dandy and its at 2 P.M, So Happy Easter to all. If you are coming to Indio, CA just bring your hankie, dust mask or maybe we can take up a collection for the water truck driver to get paid for a full day. We even saw grooms on the track with face masks on this past weekend.

Down south in Florida it will be the finals of the Gold Cup in the 26-goal and that’s Skeeterville taking on Los Monjitas. It could also be a smoker and they will be running on green grass with dust control. See ya.
