Sad news first …
One of the best people in polo, a man nobody does “not” like, Dan Horn … had a huge tragedy this week. His young son, Dan Horn Jr., lost his life. I would like to send my condolences to Dan and family. This is really sad and he was also a young and upcoming Polo Player. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Good news … The commentator from Florida, Toby Wayman, calls Jesse Bray “all day Bray” as he was MVP and the winner of a 50 thousand winner take all in Palm Beach today. Jesse is son of Graham and Debbie Bray, GM at El Dorado Polo Club, just in case you did not know.
Other big news … probably the Bachelor of CA Polo is going down to the next level as married in a couple of weeks. Joe Stuart is making the move soon. Well done JS. It is not all that bad if they cook and clean and still love U.
Big and bad news is IPC is being sold as we speak. This will be a huge change to the polo world. I just have to hope they will keep it going for a bit or a decade would be better.
IPC is the most prominent polo club in the world for the last decade and half. It was started and put together by John Goodman and is sadly going away soon. I want to thank Mr. Goodman as this was the best. I know he paid the price to be the Godfather of Polo, but THANK YOU MR GOODMAN
