In the last 30 days the knife has ruled out a couple of major Santa Barbara patrons, the surgical knife that is. Danny Walker had to replace a ripped bicep which had to be retied to bone. Mansour ‘s Man Ben Soleimani also took the knife as he hurt a shoulder and an arm. Both of these Patrons maybe out for 8 months or more. Mr. Palmer as in Geoff and Antelope went in on Valentine’s day for a new hip joint. It’s been a big hit on Santa Barbara. So we need some new patrons for the Gold Coast. Its time to make your teams for summertime and we are here to help from coast to coast. We have 8-goal in NY, 12-goal in Chicago or 10-goal in San Diego. Just give us a call. Also there are a couple of used rigs out there to get you were you want to go as well as a couple of great polo holidays. If you want to get away we can connect you at Polo Connect 805-896-4406.
Polo needs to pick up some lessons from the oil companies. Crude oil goes down and final product goes up. Gas is now $3.00 in Santa Barbara area so our new congress must have made the deal with the Democrats as well. Other news . . . San Diego is close to finding a new Manager for polo and Santa Barbara is looking for 12-goal teams. Hopefully grass will begin to grow in Indio, CA. It is real warm now and rumor is they are going to buy fertlizer as the milking is done so they can water.
Frederick Mannix, Jr. and Kelly Beal, both sons of two of the biggest past Desert Patrons, are now competing for the High-Goal Ylvisaker Title of Florida at IPC. IPC is the World’s biggest high-goal club. We wish them the best this Sunday afternoon as BTA takes on Russ McCall’s New Bridge.
See ya.
