It was a warm day in So. Cal. today and action was hotter. Polo started at 10 AM and away we went. Eric Hammon had his team Kentfield on the run as they blew by Gehache. In a down and out show down it was Aspen Oaks and Friendly Chev. in a 2 + 1/2 hour war. A few medical stops including a big fall by Mr/ Smooth (Curt Hughes) but in 5 minutes he was back in the saddle. This guy is T O U G H by all means and he is always polite and nice. Well like me I guess! Curt got back on and hit the ball that finished the game as they won in OT. Friendly Chevy goes to 2 & 0 for the weekend and Aspen Oaks goes the opposite 0 & 2 in the same period. Ms. Ellie and Montevede kept flying as they go to 2 & 0 with a win over Parklane. Over at Empire it was the Ranch Hands of Rancho Amistad and Poor Joe Anthony stopping the high-end Double Eagle despite several changes of personal. Over on field 1 at noon it was Long and Sexy Ms. Geiler doing some more work finally as she helped in a big way to put a whipping on Casa Blanca along with the Wolfman (Ashton Wolf) and a pair of rockets called Juan Jo and Jesse Neuworth. Guti (Mariano Gutierrez) quarterbacked the house burning then all eyes turned to the big one of the day as Windsor Cap/Grant’s Farm took on Hanalei Bay. They had their way as the speed of Fast-etta (Mariano Fasseetta) was not matched by the boys in white. They had a feeling of being late most of the day. It was Windsor/Grant cruising to a 4 goal win over the Surfers from over yonder (Hanalei Bay), but next week they maybe fired up as we head into the Skins Tournament where we will be dialing for dollars. The Officer’s Cup will also continue and next week will be the finals of that tournament as well. So maybe the water will run this week as the best way to make grass green and dust not to blow is H2O. H20 is a known product, very available in this area, so do a dance for the water wheel to turn.
Down south in Florida the 26 -goal is going. Bendabout was one better than Lechuza and Pony Exprss and Carlos Gracida stopped Jedi, the defending champs. In the final of the day it was Mike Azzaro and Laurence Wallace something stopping Kkeeterville in a downer as they all head for the next round.
See ya.
