It has been a good spring here in SB but the weather has been anything but normal since April the 21 st we had about 14 days of full Sun until we were not supposed to see the Sun much in June but it has arrived on June 8th it was a first full day and for last four days quite a bit of it .We also had about an inch and 3/4 quarters of rain in May and that is like historical but it is still green and first day of Summer 9 days away . Bermuda needs it we are around 53 degrees ground Temp not a favorable place for Bermuda grass. Polo however has been rolling along very well Antelope 2 had a very good May as they smoked thru to win both and deserved it and was a very strong team led by young Grant Palmer but June came and Poppa Geof took some of the smoke out of his Son giving him his first defeat of the 2019 campaign and took his team Antelope to the finals where they met another team on a run FMB ! led by a youngster who must be invisible to USPA young Lucitas Criado son of Lucas rated 1 goal and 3 goals + everyday he is not only very .polo savvy quick well mounted and missed about 3 60 yard penalty shots in 10 games also plays # 3 and it is not a camouflage he is the # 3 setting up plays and delivering. I would guess if he goes to Fl. next year he will be 4 or 5 goals or someone missed it all I guess the monster rule disappeared . Because he is not invisible about 30 years ago there was a player in Northern ,Ca. named Adolfo had this same talent he only went from 4 to 9 in one year at 17 . Polo across the pond got a big shock today as La Indiana was beaten well by Park Place led by Hillario Ulloa beat the 11 goaler and then a English dominated team put a surprise on them all beating King Power so as they say nobody know until the Fat Lady sings
