. . . a farm to it as Grant’s Farm joined Windsor Capital and made it a very good month. The Blue and Gold of Windsor/Grant’s Farm just would not stop coming all day long. If it was not the Governor stealing the ball from a big stick it was Andy Busch running to goal. If you had them both you really did not have a damn thing because there was double the trouble behind them and it came in a package that just does not lose much. This duo is Fast-Etta (Mariano Fassetta) and the Palomino (Jason Crowder). If you do not know they are coming you do not know polo because they are already gone. In the Barbara Sinatra Skins Final yesterday at Eldorado Polo Club it was a fabalous game and it was close every chukker, which in this format is a game. It was a prime time polo with spectacular saves, goals, speed and very good horses. The first chukker was won by WC/GF with 16 seconds left the 2nd and 3rd were tied. The 4th was a $12,000.00 dollar chukker and WC/GF got it in the last second. The 5th and 6th were tied. It looked like WC/GF had it and right in the mouth of the goal it was Silent Chris Maloney making an amazing save. Not only did he get to the ball before the goal he hit it down the line where no WC/GF player could get to it. In the overtime chukker it was TriTech running to goal only to just miss a double wide goal. Then some super saves and the Palomino (Jason Crowder) released a cannon shot to the Fast-etta on a mare named Comet and it was adios amigos. He took it to the Golden Goal and 8 grand was in the pocket and WC/GF won all 6 chukkers. The Palomino (Jason Crowder) said he felt bad for Tritech, but could not feel too bad as last year Windsor Cap. lost all 6 chukkers to a team in the finals, so it was a great day for all and we look to 2008.

Windsor Capital/Grant’s Farm Win All 7 Chukkers of the Barbara Sinatra Skins Finals. From left to right: Andy Busch, Nick Morrison, Mariano Fassetta, Jason Crowder, Pat Nesbitt and Barbara Sinatra.

In the Governor’s Cup, which has another week it was a pair of Canadians winning as the Hawks and Super Star Julian Mannix takes it to the goal. In a later game it was POP Fred Mannix, Sr. showing he is no slouch as he led Fish Creek to the final 4. Friendly Chevy pounded another team and they are in as well. Uno mas, but no info. at this time will report on it later.

Down South it was the Amazing Adolfo Cambiaso and the Tiger doing what they do, winning another title as Tiger won at Doral and Adolfo won at IPC and now owns the Gold. My prediction was as often W R O N G its CRAB ORCHARD & WINDSOR CAPITAL/GRANTS FARM FOR the DAY.
