anyway you look at it they are winners, as Lucchese turned up in the last chukkar and throughout history will be the Winners of the 2012 Silver Cup Championships .They just needed one chukkar to get it done. The trailed Mansour all day and never seemed like they would win as the game ticked down. They did miss a lot of chances to be closer but it just never happened as Mr EverReady just kept coming similar to the Bolt he is so damn fast he is and he is well gone to your goal and for the first 45 minutes that is the way it was Mansour leading 2 to 0 , 5 to 2 , 6 to 4 and starting chukkar 4 they finally won one and went up by 1 . It was short lived as Mansour looked forward and moved out to a two goal lead going into the 5th added another with a 10 to 7 cushion, little over 4 minutes to go and yes do not give AC this much time to make it 10 – 7 . It started with winning the throw in after each goal 7 other player s knew we have a situation, AS suddenly AC has his teammates where he wants them and John, Santi and Andres are shooting straight and making key pics and just like that 1 – 2 -3 its all square and just like that a very good day for the Men in White are going to the Victory Stand but the last 4 minutes mean it is for the Silver not the Gold as we have seen from London the last 2 weeks here it actually was Lucchese taking the Silver as in the SILVER CUP FINALS.
It was a very good game to watch from the start as Mansour seemed very disciplined and extremely generous to each other with very quick and accurate passes and the Snowman was doing a very good job of quarterbacking with quick passes and not that many penalties so a good game to watch and a fairly clean game as well. The Weather was perfect about 75 with a little ocean Breeze and a decent crowd even some bigger Stars watching as Big Bob of Valiente and Santi B and Nacho Astrada were seen as well as Carlos Gracida. Hope to see all of them on the Fields next Year as we do have the place to Play Polo ever Summer and it just gets better ever year . There is 3 more Weekends of this so come on out and have a look and Party Town will also be back in action this week where the Surf meets the Turf and the DEL MAR track is also in progress so plenty to do even as the Summer Olympics come to a close .
