It was a spectacular day and the polo was as well. It was a very different day from the very first game. Games were started 30 minutes early to accommodate for Super Bowl Parties and it was a super Sunday for some. In the first 16-goal game of the day, it was the Palomino (Jason Crowder) showing he is here as Grant’s Farm/Windsor Cap dominated Tri Tech. The combo of Fass-etta (Mariano Fassetta) was amazing as they blew away Tri Tech. The Governor, Pat Nesbitt, got in on it all as he stole the ball three times from a 6-goal player. He also scored as well. Andy Busch shut the door and let the rockets run and they did. Grant’s Farm/Windsor Cap (2 pro team) destroyed a 3 pro team. Like all good things there will be another chance.

In the 4-Goal/4 Chukker it was ORE/Pac doing a tap dance on Long Beach. Melody Oaks went awesome and rose by La Mancha as the Gray Ghost (Dempsey Mork of La Mancha) took a break today. Park Lane did a job on Hanalei Bay 2 for a “W” in their win column. At 9:30 AM, it was Zippy (Bill Ziering) of Rancho Santa Fe who defeated the Ambassador, Glen Holden of Gehache to go to 2 and 0. Rancho Amistad look like they lost their kid as they were again defeated , this time by Fish Creek, who they buried last month. Joe look at the results! It is often IPC Coached Teams (International Polo Connection /S. Crowder ) who win. It is no secret we win!

In the 4-Goal/6 Chukker Cam Clark Ford showed their Northern Lights as they buried PoloBARN.com. They did this without their sponsor Cam who popped a shoulder early in the game and had a ringer sub take his place. In a big one down low it was Empire taking a win by defeating the Ex Champs from last month, Double Eagle.

In the 8-Goal Aspen Oaks and Big Ed Pope had to play a lot of players as Shangai lost 2 or 3 players and needed a few subs during their six chukkers of play. Aspen Oaks got win with a score of 11 to 5. Steve Armour thought he had been surrounded by the Killer Bees.
The Hawks just destroyed Dudley and Casa Blanca. The house is burning right now.

In the 16-Goal feature match it was a very weird situation. Similar to Cambiaso (New Bridge La Dolfina) who is undefeated in Florida, with a miracle Hanalei Bay defeated Dandy Dan and Palm Desert who have never lost a game in ’07 until today. In the step up he said “we need more power.” It worked on Friday, but oh did he miss O’Henry (Henry Walker) today as he lost his first game in ’07. It was the Bones (Ron Bonaguidi) and Hanalei Bay just burying Palm Desert. Sometimes people forget Gringos can play polo too!

The Colts won and they are all just TEAM Players but it works and that is the way it is.
Down South in Florida, Adolfo Cambiaso is still alive and winning in ’07. New Bridge La Dolfina and BTA and they head to the semis. So go to polo wherever you are,

I have another Question for you? How do we fix the Umpire Assoc.? It needs to be a separate association. We need an organization to be responsible for their job. What can we do to make it work? See ya?
